The matching driver is UDK5128 from Oriental Motor but any 5-phase driver with at least 2.8A/phase can be used.
Motor frame size is 60mm (2.36") square, which is slightly bigger than Nema 23 for 2 phase motors.
This is High-Torque and High-Speed step motor used with high performance driver with vibration control circuitry to minimize mid-frequency resonance.
Together with matching driver will satisfy the requirements of any application requiring compact, smooth and quiet operation.
The PK569AUHA offers 230 oz-in ( 1.66 Nm) of Maximum Holding Torque at current of 2.8A/phase. The Maximum Holding Torque is defined as the holding torque at motor standstill, when the rated current is supplied to the motor in 5-phase excitation.
The basic step angle is 0.72 deg.
This high-performance motor under certain conditions will produce a considerable amount of heat. Make sure to keep the temperature of the motor case under 212F or 100C (boiling water point). When used with dedicated driver, the driver's "Automatic Current Cutback" function at motor standstill reduces maximum holding torque by approximately 50%, what helps to reduce the heat.
Use a power supply with sufficient input current. When power supply is insufficient, a decrease in motor output can cause the following malfunctions:
- motor does not rotate properly at high-speed (insufficient torque)
- motor start up and stopping is slow.
For motor cables use 0.5mm2 or thicker wires.
Signal lines should be kept at least 4" (or 10cm) away from power and motor cables. Do not bind the signal cables with power and motor cables.

We don't have any 5-phase drivers for these motors so you will have to shop around, but there is plenty of UDK5128 drivers on the market for reasonable price. You can also use any 5-phase driver with 2.8A per phase.
Motor weight is 1.3kG (almost 3 lbs), so please take this under consideration when calculating shipping cost to overseas destinations.
